Hyde Definition

Hyde Definition was conceived in 2007. The business officially came into being on January 1st, 2008, and we plan to become incorporated as a limited company from April this year. We try (and have thus far succeeded) to keep everything ‘made in Britain’. We are proud of the fact that, especially in these ‘interesting times’, UK jobs are preserved at the textile importer, the printer, the fabric finisher and the garment manufacturer we use. Only the cloth itself is imported – the days when Britain’s mills wove significant quantities of cloth are long gone. We can’t compete with Asian manufacturers in terms of price and volume, but right now my family and I go without so that we can deliver high quality apparel at a realistic price. We hope that the continued growth of Hyde Definition will mean that we can reduce our costs further in future.
