Ordinarily, the last place you would expect to wear desert camo. However, believe it or not, Brit desert DPM is a good match for the dead stalks of winter grass.

Yes, the desert DPM is rather good against the dry dead grass. A mixture of temperate and desert DPM works quite well.
Why did the MOD never issue snow DPM? Those thin nylon overwhites they use show the colours through.
Strange adaptations. Bad Camo?
